How to Publish a Book (virtual) – July 2022

Posted on June 2, 2022June 2, 2022 by Tenesha L. Curtis, M.S.S.W.

Just a note that the next “How to Publish a Book” class will take place on Thursday, July 7th, 2022 at 7:00 p.m. EDT.

You can sign up for a direct calendar invite from the Writerwerx University store or you can follow us on Facebook to be notified when we go live.

What is “How to Publish a Book?”

This is a short, free, monthly class that I facilitate about the steps to publication for indie and trade authors. We don’t get down into the details very much, but you should walk away with more information than you came with and a better understanding of how book publication works in general.

When does the class take place?

The current schedule is every first Thursday night of each month at 7:00 p.m. EDT.

Where can I watch the stream?

If you follow us on Facebook, the class will be live streamed on our page.

If you don’t have a Facebook account or don’t have access to Facebook in your area, you can request a direct invite by “ordering” it (for free) in our shop.

Who attends “How to Publish a Book?”

People from all over the world who are feeling lost when it comes to knowing how to publish a book (and avoid scammers along the way). But anyone is welcome to join in, even if they consider themselves “seasoned” authors.

How much does the class cost?

Nothing at all! It’s actually the only class I teach that has no fee at the moment. Could this change in the future? Maybe. But, for now, take advantage of the fact that it doesn’t!

What should I do if I can’t make that time or day?

If your work or school schedule doesn’t allow you to participate live during the session, you still have a couple of options.

  1. Watch the recording of the stream. I usually leave it up for a few hours to a day after the class takes place. If you head to the Writerwerx University Facebook page, it’ll be up the night the class took place.
  2. Review the content at WriterwerxUniversity.com. Everything that I discuss in “How to Publish a Book” is available on the site.
  3. Come to the next paid class at a different time or on a different day. I always incorporate Q & A sessions into my classes, so if you have a burning desire to get in on one of them, just pick a different one and ask whatever question you have about being or becoming an author.
  4. Order a book coaching session. We’ll talk one-on-one about your specific questions and concerns related to your unique project.

Hope to see you at the next class!
