Mistakes made in books (and elsewhere) don’t always have to do with grammar issues. Sometimes there is a design problem with the layout of the book, such as images being too close to the gutter or the wrong caption being applied to a diagram. This is just another reason why hiring a proofreader (the professional who reads a proof copy of your book) to flag what they see in the “final” version of your book just before publication can be so helpful.
